I facilitate the David Elliott method of breathwork, a healing and transformational practice. This type of pranayama breathwork originated thousands of years ago in the East and has recently gained popularity in the West. My understanding of shadow work is simply; bringing as much awareness , understanding, and light as possible to the unconscious parts of ourselves. Questions humans ask; Why is my life not what I want it to be? Why can't I seem to do what I say I'm going to do? What is stopping me from my full potential? My hypothesis is your shadow is running your life through your unconscious conditioning, behaviors, and patterns. The transformation I've experienced and continued to experience stems from me finally getting a sense for the origins of my shadow parts as well as how they show up in my day-to day, present reality. Through shadow work, we can explore the depths of our being and truly get to know ourselves. Through knowing ourselves, we begin to realize why our life is the way it is and how we can make the long lasting changes necessary to live more resourced, lighter, and deeper.

I first heard about men's groups in 2021 and attended my first one in 2022. It was an open group where men could join as they were available. The structure allowed each man 8 minutes to speak vulnerably and be witnessed, loved, and supported. I saw amazing transformations with this simple practice alone. Initially, I struggled with identifying as a man due to the characteristics I had seen modeled. However, men's groups dramatically changed my perception of manhood in a positive way. This led me to join more groups and eventually a deeper program called Heart of Shadow in January 2023, led by my mentors Luke Adler and Jason Lange. This program was life-changing and involved deep work. Today, I facilitate a closed men's group that meets every 2nd and 4th Wednesday and am about to launch an ongoing open men's group with a dear brother, meeting every 3rd Wednesday. More offerings are on the horizon.

Meditation invites you to be present with your breath, thoughts, body sensations, and inner experience, allowing everything to be as it is. It's a chance to turn inward and develop intimacy with your inner world, much like shadow work. Sometimes, the mind quiets and spaciousness emerges; other times, it's about offering presence to racing thoughts. Every session is valuable. Stillness itself is healing, and when you connect to deeper, universal energy, it can be deeply cleansing. I use breath and mantra to support this, but the key is effortlessness, meeting all parts of yourself with presence and allowing the rest to unfold naturally.
