About Me

I was born Jacob Cole Albritton in Tyler, Texas, the youngest in a family of five. When I was five, we moved to Oklahoma, where I spent the rest of my childhood and early adulthood. At twenty-one, I felt called to leave home and explore the West—an impulse sparked in part by my mother’s unexpected passing. Her life, and her transition, profoundly shaped my calling to support others on their healing journeys.

Her death opened a doorway inward. It initiated the beginning of my intentional healing journey at age twenty-one. Even a few years before that, I had been drawn to contemplative traditions—Buddhism, Taoism, and various mystical lineages. I immersed myself in meditation, yoga, breathwork, and other Eastern practices. After my mother passed, my inner work deepened. I practiced with more sincerity and intensity, and even though the path brought more questions than answers, something inside me finally started to click.

What began as a solitary quest to heal my own wounds eventually became a communal path. After settling in Eugene, Oregon, I joined men’s groups, which led me to the most transformative work I have ever encountered: shadow work and breathwork. My teacher and mentor, Luke Adler—along with his co-facilitator, Jason Lange—guided me through their breakthrough program, Heart of Shadow. That experience reshaped my understanding of healing in two fundamental ways:

  1. We heal through consistent, healthy, loving relationships and community support.

  2. The real work happens when we are willing to go deeper into the body and stay present with what we find.

I’ve explored many modalities over the years, and the tools I learned through Heart of Shadow remain the most practical, grounded, and transformational I’ve encountered.

Healing, growing, and deepening don’t have to be elaborate or mystical. The practices I teach are the same ones I use daily—simple, sustainable, and profoundly supportive of meaningful, long-lasting change.

Up-to-date personal practices:

  • householder meditation, breathwork, full-body calisthenics, dynamic stretching, qi gong, reiki, crystal healing, dancing, poetry, drawing, meeting with friends, and writing.

Ways I am resourced:

  • various men's groups, my teachers and mentors Luke Adler and Jason Lange, my teacher David Elliott,  a process work therapist and teacher, life coach, the conscious community in Eugene, a deeply intimate partnership with My Love, Cylver, deep friendships, rich and insightful books, and the Trust I have in the unfolding of the Universe.

Training and certifications:

  • Breathwork Facilitator and Healer, Reiki Level 2, Buddhist Psychology, Group Facilitator, Shadow Work Facilitator, Process Work Facilitator, and Deep Space Holder, Integrative Somatic Trauma-Informed

I have used all of this to dive deep into who I am, what I am at my core, and what I am meant to be doing here on this planet.

Let's talk and discover if I'd be a good fit to add to your support system.

The Work

The pyramid of holistic health is simple in structure—physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual—yet complex in lived experience. The work I offer supports people in discovering their own definition of balance by nourishing each layer of the self and integrating the whole.

I believe people already know what they want and need. My role is to skillfully support you in uncovering those answers for yourself. Clients often leave sessions feeling clearer, empowered, and more capable of moving forward with intention.

Real change becomes possible when what we hold inside is finally given space to be expressed, witnessed, and supported by a loving presence. The modalities I’ve trained in help bring unconscious material into the light of awareness, where it can integrate back into the heart and create lasting transformation.

Regardless of the method used, the intention is the same: to help you build intimacy with every part of yourself—especially your emotional life. Through a process of feeling, expressing, expanding, and co-regulating, you develop the internal strength and resilience needed to meet life as it is. We’re shaped through relationship, and it’s through relationship that we heal—whether one-on-one or in a group setting. This is why this work supports people long after the session ends.

Breathwork, as I practice and teach it, was first introduced to me by Luke Adler and later formalized in training with my teacher, David Elliott. It is a powerful conscious-connected breathing technique involving a two-part inhale and a one-part exhale. This method opens the body’s energy centers, releases stagnant emotional and energetic material, and supports profound states of clarity and connection. Clients may experience emotional release, insight from internal parts or spiritual allies, altered states of consciousness, and deep parasympathetic relaxation. It is one of the most powerful and reliable tools for healing and awakening that I know.

You already carry the power to heal, grow, love, expand, and create the life you desire. My role is to help you access that inner wisdom—to support you, challenge you, and remind you of the Hero you already are.
