My name is Jacob Albritton, founder of Moon Mountain Healing.

I support people in developing a deeper relationship with themselves through shadow work, breathwork, and relational healing. My work is rooted in a simple belief: healing happens when we learn how to meet ourselves—and one another—with greater awareness, honesty, and compassion.

I was born in Tyler, Texas, and spent most of my childhood and early adulthood in Oklahoma. At twenty-one, following the unexpected passing of my mother, I felt called to leave home and begin a deeper journey of self-discovery and healing.

Her death profoundly shaped my life. It became a catalyst that turned my attention inward and initiated the beginning of my intentional healing path. What began as a search for answers eventually became a lifelong commitment to understanding the human experience, most importantly, my humanity.

For more than a decade, I have immersed myself in the study and practice of personal growth, psychology, spirituality, consciousness, embodiment, and healing. Along the way, I explored meditation, Taoism, Buddhism, yoga, breathwork, somatic practices, men's work, and a wide range of therapeutic and transformational modalities.

After settling in Eugene, Oregon, I found my way into men's groups and eventually into the work that transformed me more deeply than anything else: shadow work and breathwork.

My mentors, Luke Adler and David Elliott, have been among the greatest influences on my path. Through their guidance, I came to understand two truths that continue to shape my work today:

Healing happens in relationship.

Transformation deepens when we learn to stay present with the wisdom of the body.

These insights continue to inform everything I offer through Moon Mountain Healing.

Today, I facilitate individual and group experiences that help people reconnect with themselves, build emotional resilience, develop greater self-awareness, and cultivate a deeper capacity for presence, intimacy, and authenticity.

The practices I teach are not theories I learned from a book. They are the same practices I continue to rely upon in my own life. Breathwork, shadow work, meditation, movement, community, creativity, and meaningful relationships remain central to my ongoing path.

I do not believe healing requires becoming someone new.

I believe healing is often a process of remembering who we already are beneath the layers of protection, conditioning, and adaptation that life asks us to develop.

If you're feeling called toward this work, I would be honored to connect and explore whether I might be a supportive addition to your journey.

With love,

Jacob

About the Work

At its core, this work is about helping people come into a deeper relationship with themselves.

Many of us have learned to disconnect from our emotions, ignore our bodies, suppress parts of who we are, or adapt in ways that helped us survive but no longer serve us. Over time, these patterns can leave us feeling stuck, disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure of who we truly are beneath the roles and identities we've built.

The work I offer creates space to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that are asking to be seen, felt, understood, and integrated.

I believe people already carry a deep inner wisdom. My role is not to tell you who you are or what you should do. My role is to help you access your own truth more clearly and develop a stronger relationship with the intelligence that already lives within you.

Through shadow work, breathwork, relational healing, and embodied awareness practices, we bring unconscious material into conscious awareness. Emotions, beliefs, protective strategies, unmet needs, and disowned aspects of ourselves are given the opportunity to emerge into the light where they can be explored with curiosity, compassion, and honesty.

As awareness grows, so does choice.

As choice grows, so does freedom.

Regardless of the modality being used, the intention remains the same: to help you develop intimacy with every part of yourself, strengthen your capacity to feel, and build the resilience needed to meet life more fully.

A foundational principle of my work is the understanding that healing happens in relationship. We are shaped through relationship, wounded through relationship, and often healed through relationship. Whether in a one-on-one session or a group setting, meaningful transformation becomes possible when what lives inside us is met with presence, acceptance, and care.

Breathwork holds a special place within my practice. Trained in the David Elliott lineage of conscious connected breathwork, I guide a simple yet powerful breathing pattern that helps people move beyond the thinking mind and into direct relationship with the body. This practice can support emotional processing, nervous system regulation, increased self-awareness, expanded states of consciousness, insight, clarity, and a deeper connection to oneself.

While experiences can be profound, the true value of this work is not what happens during a session. The true value is how those insights, experiences, and discoveries become integrated into everyday life.

My hope is that through this work you become more present, more authentic, more emotionally resilient, more connected to your body, and more capable of loving yourself and others.

You already possess the capacity to heal, grow, and transform.

My role is simply to walk alongside you as you remember.

What to expect in a session

Each session is uniquely attuned to meet you exactly where you are. We often begin by arriving together and dropping into the body through a simple grounding practice. At times, we may also incorporate a brief prayer, depending on your preferences. From there, we move gently into the work.

Once you’ve landed, the space opens for you to check in and share what you’d like support with that day. What unfolds next is shaped by the service you’ve chosen—whether shadow work, breathwork, or a blend of modalities.

By trusting the process, something meaningful and supportive always has a way of emerging. The tools mentioned above are woven together with care, presence, and intuition to support your healing and integration.

You May Experience:

• Emotional, energetic, and physical release
• A deeper connection to yourself and your inner experience
• Greater clarity, insight, and a renewed sense of direction
• Deep relaxation, grounding, and inner peace
• Greater self-acceptance, compassion, and resilience
• A reclamation of your authentic self
• Genuine human connection that supports meaningful transformation
