The Healing Session

The session that unfolds will depend greatly on your needs and wants. The offerings allow for a flow that we can get creative within. The overall structure that each offering has is;

  • an arriving practice

  • intention setting

  • a guided healing practice such as breathwork or shadow work

  • then we land the plan and discuss how to integrate what we learned from the session and apply it to life outside.

The safety and support that clients sense during sessions will allow for depth to be reached, felt, acknowledged, understood, and Loved.

The Breathwork Journey

A guided pranayama breathwork journey facilitated by me will follow the structure outlined above, as well as:

  • a teaching of the David Elliott breathwork method

  • going over what can happen physically, emotionally, and spiritually during the session

  • conversation with the breather before the session to determine if they would like to receive touch, essential oils, sage and palo santo being burned, as well as sentence prompts, and energy work during the session.

       **these things are not required in order to have a deep experience, and breathers can change their mind any time     before or during the session.

The breather may receive intuitive nudges for what they need during the session and it is encouraged that they speak up so I may offer them support when those senses arise. I will always accommodate what the breather needs, as long as it is within the boundaries of appropriate behavior.

Once intentions are set, and I have gone over my prerequisites, the breathing session will begin. As a facilitator, I am holding deep space for the breather to feel safe, held, Loved, and supported while they do their healing work. After a few minutes of breathing, energy starts to move and the Spirit takes over. Whatever happens is perfect. Just keep breathing. The active breathing can range from 15 to 40 minutes. Then I'll gently help you land back into your normal breathing pattern, relaxing completely into your mat. This is where myself and others tend to report sensations of the Spirit buzzing fully in the body. It is common to be in clear communication with intuition, spirit guides, and ancestors. The feeling can be described as  Heavenly, Blissful, and utterly relaxing.

I then guide the breather back to the room using grounding methods. Eventually they wiggle their toes and fingers, roll over to their side, and then sit up, feeling like a new born baby. The space is then open for the client to talk about their experience, and my job may be to help with clarity on what happened and, if they want, with integrating the experience into the world outside of the session. After that process is feeling complete, I end the healing session with a closing prayer of Love and Gratitude.

Integrated Self Sessions

An Integrated Self session will include, for the most part, Shadow work. Because that is the modality I work with the most, shadow work is happening all through the session. During these sessions, we explore together the deeper parts of you that may be influencing your life in undesirable ways to you or to others. We connect to the unconscious and give it Love, Care, and Presence so that we may integrate the wisdom that is available there. I strive to make this container a safe and supportive space that does not push a client to go beyond what they are ready for. After intentions are set, healing practices can include;

  • Processing work, shadow work, parts work, breathwork

  • Integrative Somatic Trauma-Informed Practices

  • Energy healing and crystal healing

  • Gestalt, somatic practices, meditation

  • supportive and compassionate listening, mirroring, reflecting, relating, and understanding.

The practices we utilize will be intuitively applied based on what the person is bringing in that day and their intentions. The client can also request certain practices if there is a specific modality they are feeling drawn to. These sessions can be playful, explorational, and incredibly powerful. No matter the practice, my greatest intention is for the client to find their own solutions and take responsibility for their healing one step at a time.

I do not diagnose, prescribe, or treat mental or physical illnesses. My role is to hold space, guide healing practices, and support physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellness. The tools I provide help clients connect to their own innate wisdom, Knowing, and capacity for growth. My offerings are not a replacement for licensed medical or mental health treatment. Clients are encouraged to seek professional care for medical or mental health concerns.
