A Trauma-Informed, Somatic Shadow Work Journey
The Loving Forward Path is a phase-based shadow work container designed to support meaningful and lasting transformation through awareness, emotional processing, and embodied integration.
How It Works
Session Length: 75 minutes (1 hour and 15 minutes)
Frequency: Weekly
Format: In-person in Eugene, Oregon, or online via Zoom
Investment: Sliding scale of $80–$160 per session
Commitment for each phase: A minimum of 6–9 weeks of weekly sessions (max 13 weeks)
The Rhythm of the Work
The Loving Forward Path is intentionally designed to move between periods of deep exploration and periods of integration.
During our weekly sessions, we may explore:
Recurring patterns and behaviors
Emotional reactions and triggers
Relationship dynamics
Protective strategies and adaptations
Parts of yourself that have been disowned, rejected, or misunderstood
The connection between your thoughts, emotions, body sensations, and life experiences
After completing a phase, we intentionally step out of weekly work.
Rather than continuously diving deeper, we create space for you to practice, observe, and embody what you have learned in your everyday life. During this integration period, we may choose to meet once or twice per month to check in, process new experiences, and support the implementation of what has emerged during our work together.
Many people discover that once they begin living differently, new layers naturally reveal themselves. When it feels appropriate, we can intentionally step back into weekly sessions and begin the next phase of work.
The Four Phases
Phase 1: Meeting the Shadow
Becoming aware of why you do what you do.
Phase 2: Working with the Shadow
Developing the capacity to relate differently to your emotions, reactions, and protective patterns.
Phase 3: Embodiment & Integration
Practicing and living what you have learned in your relationships and everyday life.
Phase 4: Loving Forward
Living with greater self-trust, awareness, compassion, and choice.
There is no expectation to move quickly through these phases. Transformation is not linear, and every person's journey unfolds at its own pace. The intention is not to rush toward an outcome but to create a sustainable rhythm of deep work, integration, and continued growth that supports lasting change.
